We may maintain pages for our Company on social media platforms, such as, LinkedIn, Facebook, Google, YouTube, Instagram, and other third-party platforms. You or the platforms may provide us with information through the platform, and we will treat such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. 

Marketing and advertising. We do not sell your personal information to any party.

How We Use Your Personal Information 

We use your personal information for the following purposes and as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy or at the time of collection:

We make personal information into anonymous, aggregated or de-identified data by removing information that makes the data personally identifiable to you. We may use this anonymous, aggregated or de-identified data and share it with third parties for our lawful business purposes, including to analyze and improve the Website and to perform research that advances the field of community mobility. 

How We Share Your Personal Information 

We do not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except in the following circumstances or as described in this Privacy Policy: 

Subsidiaries and affiliates. We may share your personal information with our subsidiaries or affiliates, including for the purposes disclosed by us when you provide the information.  

Service providers. We may share your personal information with contractors, service providers, and other third-party companies and individuals that provide services on our behalf or help us operate the Website (such as customer support, hosting, analytics, call or message routing, email delivery, outreach, and database management services). These third parties may use your personal information only as directed or authorized by us and in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy, and are prohibited from using or disclosing your information for any other purpose. 

Professional advisors. We may disclose your personal information to professional advisors, such as lawyers, bankers, auditors and insurers, where necessary in the course of the professional services that they render to us. 

For approved purpose. We may share your personal information for additional purposes, not listed here, but which you approved when providing the information.  

For compliance, fraud prevention and safety. We may share your personal information for the compliance, fraud prevention and safety purposes described above.

Miscellaneous. We may also disclose your personal information to: (i) comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request; (ii) to enforce or apply our Terms Of Use and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes; and (iii) if we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of ITN, our donors, or others.  

Your Choices 

In this section, we describe the rights and choices available to all users.  

Access or Update Your Information. If you have registered for an account with us, you may review and update certain personal information in your account profile by logging into the account. You can also contact us at privacy@itnamerica.org to request that we update information. We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect. 

Text message communications. If you have opted in to text messaging we use text messaging to communicate with you about your service. Normal messaging rates apply and the frequency of messages may vary. Mobile Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.  

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. 

Opt-out of text message communications. You may opt-out of text messaging at any time by replying to any message with STOP or contacting us at privacy@itnamerica.org. This will end the communications from that particular phone number. You may continue to receive service-related and other non-marketing text messages from other phone numbers managed by ITNAmerica, and you may opt out of those in a similar fashion. 

Opt-out of outreach communications. You may opt-out of outreach-related emails by following the opt-out or unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of the email, or by contacting us at privacy@itnamerica.org. You may continue to receive service-related emails. 

Cookies. Most browser settings let you delete and reject cookies placed by websites. Many browsers accept cookies by default until you change your settings. If you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use all functionality of the Website and it may not work properly. For more information about cookies, including how to see what cookies have been set on your browser and how to manage and delete them, visit https://www.allaboutcookies.org. We use Google Analytics to help us understand user activity on the Website. Where we are required by law to collect your personal information, or where we need your personal information in order to provide the Website to you, we may not be able to provide you with our services if you do not provide this information when requested. How can you delete the data we collect from you? Under certain state and national laws, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we collect from you, change that information, or delete it in some circumstances. To request to delete your personal information, please submit a request to info@itnamerica.org. We will respond to your request within 30 days. 

Security Practices 

The security of your personal information is important to us. We employ a number of organizational, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we collect. However, security risk is inherent in all internet and information technologies and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information. Email, in particular, is an insecure way to transmit personal information. Please take special care regarding what information you send to us via email or text message. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Website. 

Children 

The Website is not intended for children under the age of 13.  No one under the age of 13 may provide any personal information to the Website and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on this Website or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, or any screen name or user name you may use. If we become aware that we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at privacy@itnamerica.org. We will delete such information from our files as soon as reasonably practicable. We encourage parents with concerns to contact us. 

Changes to this Privacy Policy 

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by updating the date of this Privacy Policy and posting it on the Website. We may, and if required by law, will also provide notification of changes in another way that we believe is reasonably likely to reach you, such as via e-mail (if you have an account where we have your contact information) or another manner through the Website. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable e-mail address for you, and for periodically visiting our Website and this privacy policy to check for any changes. 

Any modifications to this Privacy Policy will be effective upon our posting the new terms and/or upon implementation of the new changes on the Website (or as otherwise indicated at the time of posting).
